HEH Civil is a privately-owned civil construction company specialising in the design, construction and rehabilitation of civil infrastructure for all levels of Government as well as private clients.

With strong roots in Northern Australia’s construction, earthmoving, agricultural, and

CHRIS BIRD
DIRECTOR & FINANCE MANAGER
Chris Bird manages all aspects of accounting, finance and business administration for the company. Chris has owned and managed a number of businesses within the retail, wholesale and finance sectors.
LUKE BIRD
DIRECTOR & PROJECT MANAGER
Luke is a founding Director of HEH Civil. Luke is responsible for Estimation and Project Management oversight within the business. Luke also has extensive experience in contract management and has a Bachelor of Commerce.
MARK BIRD
DIRECTOR & GENERAL MANAGER
Mark is a founding Director of HEH. Mark is the General Manager of the company. Mark’s knowledge is backed up with almost four decades of practical experience within the earthmoving, mining and civil construction industries.
ADAM PORTER

Adam is a degree qualified Civil Engineer with over a decades experience delivering challenging projects throughout Queensland. Prior to joining HEH Civil, Adam held key leadership roles

FEATURED PROJECT

PAVEMENT REHABILITATION

DEPARTMENT: Department of Transport and Main Roads

COMPLETION: December 2017

DURATION: 11 WEEKS

This Project involved 800 meters of pavement rehabilitation for the main street leading into Port Douglas. HEH’s project management team worked closely with DTMR in resolving the problem of unsuitable subgrade by deploying tensar grid with cement treatment for the subbase. HEH maintained constant contact with community stakeholders to ensure minimal interruption to the local tourism operators and residents.
